Facelift In The Fridge – Dr. Perricone’s 3-Day Diet

I’ve long been a fan of Dr. Perricone MD, first learning about him on Oprah years ago. He’s a big proponent of eating healthy, antioxidant-rich foods to improve skin. His infamous 3-day salmon diet, or “a facelift in the fridge”, is an anti-inflammatory diet aiding in the elimination of puffiness and increases contours and firmness. It also improves mood and memory, and is rumored to boost sex drive. The diet consists of salmon, twice a day, for three days, and generous servings of eggs and greens. However, not just any salmon will do – and farmed salmon is a definite no-no. What he recommends is Wild Alaskan Salmon – it is beneficial to skin because it contains DMAE, astaxanthin, and essential fatty acids that increase skin’s radiance, glow, and firmness.
