NYC New York Color White Eyeliner Pencil Review
London Drugs had a sale last week on NYC (New York Color) lipsticks, eyeliners and nail polish – all were 99 cents each! I decided to buy their NYC white eyeliner pencil, and NYC lipsticks in Retro Red and Petal.
The only other NYC product I’ve tried was their lipgloss in Sun Gold Pink. I bought this particular shade because it’s considered a NARS Orgasm dupe, which is one of my favorite lipglosses. Sadly, the NYC color didn’t work on me, as it’s too frosty – although it’s an amazing color of pink on my friend.
I’ve wanted to purchase a white eyeliner pencil for my waterline for a while. When I saw the NYC pencil for $0.99 – how could I go wrong? To find a pencil that’s not too rough, gives a natural, wide-eyed look, and costs less than a buck – I’m a happy gal.
Positives:
- Applies smoothly – During cold, winter months heat it up with a blow-dryer, or rub it on the back of your hand
- Super long pencil, twice the size of regular eye-pencils
- Less than a buck
The only negative I found was that it doesn’t last as long as I had hoped. Although, for 99 cents, I think I can handle re-applying.
Tip: Sanitize the tip in between usage to insure the pencil is free of bacteria before using on your waterline: Use a cotton ball with a little bit of rubbing alcohol, allow to dry.
