KORRES Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder
I picked up KORRES Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder at the Sephora Grand Opening in Vancouver.
Korres is a Greek company whose products are natural and eco-conscious. Always trying to be good to the environment, I thought I’d give their products a go.
I bought the “Sunglow Light” (soft peachy tan color) cause I’m fair. Darker complexion girls should opt for “Sunglow Warm” which is a more golden tan color.
This bronzer doesn’t give that ‘dirty’ look that some bronzers can. The powder is super soft, finely milled, subtle color and glides on effortlessly. It’s great for those with sensitive skin (like me) because it’s free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, so it doesn’t clog pores!
What’s unique about this bronzer is that it’s made with Monoi – an infused oil made from soaking the petals of Tahitian gardenias (tiare) in coconut oil. So, this bronzer is non-drying and stays where you put it.
Ways to use:
-Use a contour brush to place powder directly under your cheek bones, to thin out face and make cheek bones pop.
-Or, make a number 3 motion with your brush: temples, cheeks, jawline.
-Or, dust powder lightly where sun would naturally tan your face: across forehead, nose and chin.
[rating:5/5]
Overall, this is an awesome bronzer – especially for fair skinned girls! Darker complexions will love it too because the color is buildable without looking too ‘orangey’.
I only know KORRES being sold at Sephora (and from KORRES stores/website). Anyone know what other stores sell KORRES products?
