I am a huge MAC makeup fan, and must admit most of my makeup is from them. I have even bought many different foundations from them that I love. Only problem is, I recently moved to the hot & humid country of Singapore. With the heat & humidity my MAC foundation would literally melt off and it would feel like my face couldn’t breathe. So what’s a girl to do when you want more coverage than a powder when vacationing in the tropics or in my case living in the tropics?
I talked to so many different makeup brands about my concerns, not only was I in need of a foundation that was light enough to not to melt or clog my pores, I also needed it to moisturize my skin. With my skin I find that some foundations when I put them on, make my skin look flaky. Awful right?
Well the girl at the Bobbi Brown counter was so convinced that she had the right product for me, and introduced me to their “Moisture Rich” foundation with SPF 15. I was very skeptical, but this lady was so certain that it was light enough to wear in the tropics, and when she put it on me my skin looked great. So I bought it and it’s now my favorite foundation. The foundation really is light enough to wear on hot humid days without clogging my pores, plus I love the SPF 15 for added protection from the sun. The finish of the foundation is dewy, so I like to add powder over top when I want more of a matte look. I think Bobbi Brown’s “Moisture Rich” foundation is a great staple for anyone’s vacation makeup bag.[rating:5/5]
